We’ve been hearing a lot about the “New Xbox Experience” since this year’s E3. This overhaul of the Xbox dashboard promises to give us a massive number of new features that is sure to excite anyone. Sure, the Avatars remind us all of the Mii’s which Nintendo introduced on the Wii, but it’s forgivable I think. What excites me is the capability to finally be able to stream Netflix movies to my Television without any hacks or workarounds. The large question on everyone’s mind has been “when is it coming?”
Microsoft has finally given us an answer to this burning question. It seems that the rumors pointing at a Novemeber launch were indeed correct, as it is set to hit November 19th. You’ll want to mark your calenders, and schedule time to create your new Avatar. Or you can be like me and spend a few minutes messing with it before actually using the console to play games or watch a motion picture.
